11:00
At 11:00, in Villa Stiassni, we begin with The Benešes in Brno.
At 15:00, in the former prison (Káznice), we move to the post-war reckoning of The Brno Trial, where the audience becomes part of an extraordinary people’s court trying Gestapo criminal councillor Otto Koslowski.
At 18:00, in Arnold’s Villa, we encounter Pavel Molek’s gripping Stopover – a drama set in Tel Aviv airport in 1951, where questions of guilt, justice, and personal trauma collide.
And at 20:00, in Villa Tugendhat, we close the day with Today We Divide It, the dramatic confrontation between Václav Klaus and Vladimír Mečiar at the moment when the dissolution of Czechoslovakia was taking shape.
This is not a “showcase of titles”. It is a marathon that allows the past to speak in all its complexity – and places us in situations where simple answers do not suffice. We leave with questions that are uncomfortable, yet necessary: what were we as a society willing to do then – and what are we willing to do today to prevent similar ruptures from happening again?
Ticket sales will begin soon.
