Being at peace with what is does not mean we must be satisfied with the state of the world and continue our individual life paths unchanged. It means that we stop fighting reality and its consequences. It means deeply accepting the circumstances we find ourselves in. It means perceiving, feeling, and acknowledging both reality and our inner relationship with it.
A journey of a thousand miles begins right under our feet, in the place that is exactly as it is. We cannot start from a place we are resisting while trying to convince ourselves we are somewhere else, simply because we think we “should be.” Truthfully accepting our inner experiences—including unwelcome emotions, fear, shame, numbness, overwhelm, or ignorance—brings light and warmth into our relational space, even if it seems paradoxical. This is true reconciliation. To embark on this path, we must do so together. We will be guided by therapist and founder of the Institute for Trauma Healing and Prevention, Šárka Weberová.
The event will be held in Czech.
This event is organized in collaboration with the Brno City Museum and Arnold Villa.
