How to Get to the Festival
As you browse through our programme, you might notice quite a few different venues. Luckily, Brno is just the right size—so moving between events often feels like a pleasant walk. All venues are easily accessible by public transport, and if you’re lucky with parking, even by car. And don’t worry—we won’t let you get lost. Once you’re nearby, just look out for the festival logo on our A-frame signs to guide you to the right place.
We’re Ready for the Rain
We may not control the weather, but we do know how to prepare for it. In case of bad weather, we have backup indoor venues—or rain ponchos, just in case. One thing we kindly ask: please leave your umbrella at home. Not only is it less effective, but it can also block the view for other guests.
What to Wear
Not sure whether to go full evening gown or full-on rain gear? Here’s a simple rule: go for something in between. More seriously though—Meeting Brno prides itself on a casual, welcoming atmosphere. Most visitors opt for something light and comfortable—think: what you’d wear to lunch with friends. But don’t stress about your outfit. Just come as you are and feel good in your own skin.
You Won’t Go Thirsty
At our larger events, you’ll always find a drink stand and light refreshments. At smaller ones, we offer wine and water for everyone. Since meaningful connection is the heart of Meeting Brno, we’d love for you to stay after the programme and join in the conversation. And what better way to connect than over a glass of fine Moravian wine? The only “entry fee” is sharing your thoughts and meeting new people.
And About Those Tickets…
Still deciding whether to join us? Here’s something you’ll like: most Meeting Brno events are free of charge. However, for many of them you’ll need to make a reservation, as space is limited and interest is high. That said, we also offer plenty of barrier-free events—no ticket, no registration needed. Perfect for spontaneous festival-goers! So don’t hesitate—come and be part of Meeting Brno.
