Ehrung der Opfer des Zweiten Weltkriegs

Das berüchtigte Kounic-Studentenheim in Brünn symbolisiert die Leiden von Tausenden Menschen, die hier in den Jahren der Nazibesatzung inhaftiert waren. Hunderte Personen, Widerstandskämpfer und tschechische Patrioten starben hier einen gewaltsamen Tod. Nach dem Kriegsende setzte sich das Leiden an diesem Ort bis Juni 1945 fort. Zusammen mit den Gästen aus Deutschland eröffnen wir hier mit einem Pietätsakt symbolisch den am Samstag abgehaltenen Versöhnungsmarsch.

Honouring the Victims of World War II

The infamous Kounicovy dorms in Brno symbolize the suffering of thousands of people who were imprisoned here during the Nazi occupation. Hundreds of people, resistance fighters and Czech patriots lost their lives here by violent death. After the end of the war, the suffering continued here until June 1945. With the participation of guests from Germany, we will symbolically begin the Saturday Reconciliation March here.

Pietní akt – Uctění památky obětí II. světové války

Nechvalně známé Kounicovy koleje v Brně symbolizují utrpení tisíců lidí, kteří zde byli vězněni v letech nacistické okupace. Stovky lidí, odbojářů a českých vlastenců tady přišli násilnou smrtí o život. Vzpomínka na tyto oběti patří k nedílné bilanci minulého století. Po skončení války pokračovalo utrpení na tomto místě až do června 1945. Za účasti hostů z Německa zde pietním aktem symbolicky zahájíme sobotní Pouť smíření.
