Open Air Cinema: Zabawa, zabawa (Fun, Fun) (PL)
The film brings riveting stories of three women of different ages who are at different stages of alcohol addiction. Dorota, a forty-year-old, is a successful prosecutor who, in her words, drinks not to go crazy. Another of the heroines, acclaimed surgeon Teresa, has lost her family because of her drinking and has only her work in hospital left. The student Magda loves wild parties, and since her studies go well and she has a good job, no one blames her. But then comes a moment when she loses ground and tragedy ensues.
Director: Kinga Dębska (2018, 88 minutes, Polish with English and Czech subtitles)
Admission: 100 CZK (tickets can be bought at the door half an hour before the screening or at the ticket office of the Scala cinema)
Meeting Brno Open Air Cinema
We’d like to invite you to an open-air cinema for a series of three films that provide an artistically designed meeting with three countries with which we share a similar historical experience of the post-war period. We will show films reflecting the present times in the former East Germany, Hungary and Poland.
