Die unterbrochenen Leben

Szenische Bewegungserinnerung an drei junge, vom Kommunismus totgeschlagene Leben vom „August neunundsechzig“

Danuše, Stanislav, Jiří … drei bewegte Schicksale des Jahres 1969. Die Erinnerungen an den August des Vorjahres brachten viele junge, mit der politischen Entwicklung nach dem Einmarsch unzufriedene Leute in die Brünner Straßen, wo sie ihre Meinung noch frei manifestieren oder der „lebendigen Fackeln“ gedenken wollten. Für drei von ihnen wurde der Augusttag allerdings zum Verhängnis. Unter bisher ungeklärten Umständen wurden in der Brünner Innenstadt Danuše Muzikářová, Stanislav Valehrach und Jiří Ševčík von den „Volksmilizen“ erschossen… Der letztere überlebte, wurde jedoch gelähmt. Unfähig ein vollwertiges Leben zu führen, nach 1989 sogar ohne jegliche moralische oder finanzielle Satisfaktion, wurde auch sein Leben buchstäblich zerstört. Drei Opfer, die keine Helden werden wollten. Drei junge Leben, die vom kommunistischen Regime vernichtet wurden. Auch fünfzig Jahre danach darf es nicht zu spät sein, ihres schmerzlichen Nachlasses zu gedenken. Um diesen grausamen Taten mindestens einen Sinn zu geben. Und den heutigen und künftigen Tagen einen Spiegel vorzuhalten.

Die unterbrochenen Leben sind drei Solo-Performances, drei künstlerische Auftritte in der Choreografie Martin Dvořáks.

Broken lives

A theatrical and movement memory of three young people, silenced by communism, the „Lives of August ‘69“

Danuše, Stanislav, Jiří… three troubled fates of 1969. The memories of “August” of the previous year drove many young people to Brno streets, as they were still dissatisfied with the political development after the occupation and wanted to freely express their opinion or perhaps to recall the “living torches” victims. However, for three of them this August day became fatal. Under still quite unclear circumstances, people in the centre of Brno were shot at by the militia and killed… Danuše Muzikářová, Stanislav Valehrach and Jiří Ševčík. The latter did not succumb to the injuries but was seriously paralyzed. Unable to live a full life, after 1989 even without any moral or financial satisfaction, his life was wasted and literally finished. Three victims who didn’t want to be heroes. Three young lives destroyed by the communist regime. Fifty years later, it must not be too late to recall their painful legacy. To remind us all, to give these horrible things some sense. And to hold a mirror up to the present and future days.

Broken Lives consist of three solo performances, three artistic stops choreographed by Martin Dvořák. The performance was created in collaboration with ProART Company.

Přervané životy

divadelně-pohybová vzpomínka na tři mladé – komunismem umlčené – životy „srpna šedesát devět“
Danuše, Stanislav, Jiří… tři pohnuté osudy roku 1969. Vzpomínky na „srpen“ předešlého roku vyhnaly do brněnských ulic mnoho mladých, kteří nespokojeni s pookupačním politickým vývojem chtěli dosud svobodně projevit svůj názor či snad připomenout oběti „živých pochodní“. Třem z nich se však stal onen srpnový den osudným. Za doposud nezcela vyjasněných okolností byli v centru Brna zastřeleni lidovými milicemi a zprovozeni ze světa… Danuše Muzikářová, Stanislav Valehrach a Jiří Ševčík. Poslední z nich zraněním nepodlehl, ale vážně ochrnul. Neschopen plnohodnotného života, po roce 1989 dokonce bez jakékoli morální či finanční satisfakce, byl zmařen a doslova dokonán i jeho život. Tři oběti, které nechtěly být hrdiny. Tři mladé životy, které zničil komunistický režim. Ani padesát let poté nesmí být pozdě si jejich bolestný odkaz připomenout. Připomenout proto, abychom dali těmto hrůzným činům alespoň nějaký smysl. A nastavili zrcadlo dnům dnešním a budoucím.
Přervané životy jsou tři sólové performance, tři umělecká zastavení v choreografii Martina Dvořáka. Představení vzniklo ve spolupráci s ProART Company.
